About Anna Lyons

Anna Lyons is an end-of-life doula and the co-director of Life. Death. Whatever..

As an end-of-life doula, she supports people who are living with life-limiting illness, their family and friends. Her aim is to help people to live as good a life as possible right up until the very end.

Most people don’t really know what an end of life doula is so she spends a lot of time explaining her role. When she’s not talking about all things end of life, you’ll find her wearing dungarees and leopard print whilst being a mum to three girl cubs, walking her dog or dreaming of swimming in the sea.

Anna has spent many years working within palliative care and in education. She hopes her work in this field will help redesign the dialogue around death and dying, bringing it out of the shadows and into the bright light of the day. Anna hopes to live a good long life right up until her death.

Anna’s first book, written with funeral director Louise Winter, will be published by Green Tree (Bloomsbury) in March 2021.
